About Me

I have been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1993.

In addition to this, I have also worked for the Society of Teachers of The Alexander Technique (STAT) as the Treasurer of the organisation for over five years.

How did I become interested in the Alexander Technique?

Well... Back Pain... got me interested in the Alexander Technique. During my late twenties, I developed a back problem while playing Tennis and Badminton. The pain in my back was intermittent at first and it didn't stop me carrying out my activities for more than a few days, but it got progressively worse. And after three years it became permanent and I was virtually immobilised.

I tried conventional treatments and also some alternative therapies in my search for a solution, but none of these really helped. By chance, I heard about the Alexander Technique and I decided to investigate it.

To be honest... I've never looked back. I was so amazed at how the Alexander Technique resolved my problems... and gave me a new lease of life... restoring my health and eliminating my back trouble... that I decided to undertake the three-year training to become a teacher.

I am very enthusiastic about the Alexander Technique because of how it helped me... and I hope it will do the same for you soon after I show you how it will help you.

If you'd like more information, why not call me for a chat about your needs.

I look forward to hearing from you... and meeting you in the near future.

Regards.

Testimonials

As a long-term sufferer of neck and shoulder pain, I had tried a variety of treatments to help my problem, all of which have had limited success. So, I tried the Alexander Technique. After my first few sessions, I felt like I was floating across the floor when I walked and my limbs felt free and relaxed. I also felt more positive about my situation. As time passed the pain in my neck and shoulder eased and friends commented that I<strong> looked taller and had more of a presence. I now play football again after having given it up because of my problems. Anyone prepared to spend the time to do something about their pain will find it well worth the effort
